Steel cut oats are sliced rather than rolled, resulting in a creamy and smooth porridge.
The style used here is a fine-cut and cooks as quickly as our rolled oats. We add chia seeds, quinoa and sliced almonds to make this high in plant proteins, fibre, healthy oils and slow digesting carbs, and very low in sugar (we don't add any).
Please note this product is available online for click & collect or shipping. Unless requested it will not be at the Saturday market stalls.
To prepare hot: Take 1/3 cup porridge mix and add 2/3 cup water (or milk of your choice). Cook in the microwave for 1 minute, stir and cook for another minute. For the stovetop, gently cook for 5 minutes until thick.
